Eisenberg

A small, post-industrial town in the Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany, Eisenberg is located in a wooded area, close to the German Wine Route with a population of approximately 9,000 people.

During our stays here we have visited many of the interesting towns and museums nearby and in 2013 we joined Eisenberg to celebrate their 1,250 year Jubilee. There was a carnival parade, where we had a "Baldock" float and festival dinner for all local associations.

In 2018 we celebrated our 30th Anniversary with the town and our friends from Eisenberg visited us in Baldock. Over the weekend everyone took a trip to Windsor and Bekonscot Model Village.

In 2019 our trip to Eisenberg included a cruise down the Rhine river, a visit to Andernach to see the world's highest cold-water geyser and lunch at a traditional German restaurant.
